Lisa’s practice is primarily focused on aviation accident investigations and litigation.
Lisa has experience representing and advising airlines in connection with all aspects of commercial disputes, civil litigation, appeals, and labor and employment matters. She has litigated in Florida’s State and Federal Courts.

Lisa is currently an active pilot flying for American Airlines and has been an airline pilot since 1993. She is type rated on the Boeing 737, 757 and 767 aircraft, the CL-65, and was also a flight engineer on Boeing 727 aircraft.

Lisa is a member of The Ninety-Nines: International Organization of Women Pilots (also known as The 99s), and the International Society of Women Airline Pilots (or ISA+21). Lisa is a member of the Allied Pilots Association (APA) and a former member of the APA Appeal Board. In 2020, Lisa was appointed to serve on the Florida Bar’s Aviation Law Committee. The Aviation Law Committee is dedicated to the study of recent developments of law, legislation and regulations in the field of aviation law.

Lisa also speaks conversational Spanish, French and Portuguese.
