CEO; FEAM Maintenance

Mr. Fred J. Murphy is the founder and serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of F&E Aircraft Maintenance (FEAM). Since its inception in 1992 Mr. Murphy has led the company to substantial growth milestones emerging as a leader in third party aircraft maintenance. Under Mr. Murphys’ leadership FEAM has increased in sales, operations and geographical footprint; going from a small two man operation to employing over 500 aircraft mechanics in 13 international airports. In the past 12 months, FEAM has become the first MRO in the U.S. to gain certification by the Japan Civil Aeronautics Bureau to perform aircraft line maintenance with return to service, entered into a joint venture with GA Telesis, LLC to provide aircraft parts at all 13 of its locations to both domestic and international customers, opened up operations at Cincinnati (CVG), Huntsville (HSV), Charleston (CHS) and Baltimore (BWI).

Mr. Murphy continues to strive for FEAM to become the world’s leading class engineering and maintenance service provider. Offering cost effective reliable and unmatched maintenance services.

Prior to starting FEAM Mr. Murphy served in the United States Air Force, where he was a non-commissioned officer where he was responsible for a squadron of technicians. After leaving the Air Force Mr. Murphy worked at Trans World Airlines, US Airways and American where he held various roles in their respective maintenance and engineering organizations.

He and his wife, Rivien Murphy serve as board members for Women Beyond Cancer, Host Chairpersons for Dress for Success, and are members of Miami-Dade Beacon Council, Miami Maintenance Managers Council, Childrens’ Home Society, and New Jerusalem Church- Outreach Ministry.

Mr. Murphy and wife have been married for over 27 years and have one son, Camron Murphy.
