Jeanette Eaton is the Vice President of Strategy & Business Development for Commercial Systems and Services market segments around the world.  Jeanette has a diverse portfolio of experiences over 32 years, including 22 years with Sikorsky, spanning Engineering, Manufacturing, Program Management, Customer Support, Marketing and Sales in support of Commercial and Military rotorcraft and has driven Sikorsky into the firefighting market. As an engineer and program manager, she was involved in the original FIREHAWK design concept and production in the late ’90s with LA County. 

In 2004, she transitioned to Bell Helicopter as the North America Regional Sales Executive until rejoining Sikorsky as the Director of Marketing, eventually transitioning back into sales and business development.  She has become an accomplished commercial instrument fixed wing pilot and commercial helicopter pilot which provided her valuable operational experience. As an engineer by training and a commercial rotary wing pilot, she has brought a unique perspective to Sikorsky Business Development in ways that anticipate and meets customer needs, drive innovation and customer value, and encourage change. 

Jeanette holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, and multiple master’s degrees and certificates in Business and Engineering from Boston University, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Harvard Business School, as well as certificates from Darden and Fisher College of Business.

She is active in STEM mentorship and currently serving on the Board for Rotor & Wing as well as past served on the boards of the Eastern Regional Helicopter Council and New England Helicopter Council.  Other memberships include The Whirly-Girls (female helicopter pilots association), The Ninety-Nines, Inc (International organization of women pilots), and Women in Aviation International.
