Seoul International Air Show to be held in October

The Seoul International Air Show will be held on October 18-23 in Seoul, South Korea. The event is one of the world's premier aerospace and defense events, offering unparalleled access to one of the world's fastest-growing markets. For the 2005 show, estimates predict that 300 exhibitors from over 30 countries will be in attendance.

The U.S. Commercial Service is currently organizing an Aerospace Executive Service (AES) to South Korea in order to aid American aerospace and defense companies in finding buyers, agents, and distributors in the Korean Aerospace and Defense Technologies market. This trade mission will take place at the Seoul International Air Show from October 18th - 23rd, 2005. It will include pre-arranged meetings and individual company promotions that will link participating companies with agents, government officials, distributors, executives, and end-users.

The Korean market is one of great potential for U.S. exports. In 2004 alone, South Koreans purchased American products and services totaling USD 26.3 billion. The Aerospace market in particular is expected to show major growth over the next few years, so American firms should take advantage of the AES at the Seoul International Air Show in order to achieve a first-mover advantage over competitors.
