Airframe Field Services Manager; Miami
PJ Kendall has been in the aviation industry for over 17 years. He graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach Florida with a degree in Aeronautical Systems Maintenance with a concentration in Maintenance Management. During his time at Embry-Riddle he worked as an Engine Overhaul Technician and Lab Instructor. This led to his first job in the industry, working for a regional airline called Atlantic Southwest Airlines in Baton Rouge, LA. He then moved to New Jersey where he began working as an Aircraft Technician for Continental Airlines, which eventually merged with United Airlines. After his time with Continental and United, he started to pursue a management role with UPS in Louisville, KY. There, he gained experience in numerous departments within the Airline Division including Planning, CASS, Safety, and Line Maintenance. After a year in these departments he was promoted to a Line Maintenance Supervisor in Oakland, CA. He then leveraged this into a Line Maintenance Supervisor position with Southwest Airlines in Houston, TX and then as a Maintenance Manager in Chicago, IL. He has now been with Southwest Airlines for over five years. His current role is Airframe Field Services Manager here in Miami, FL.
