Jay Heppner

Chief Pilot; XOjet, Fractional Jets

Jay Heppner is currently a Citation X pilot with XOJET Aviation and the Company’s System Chief Pilot. He graduated from the US Air Force Academy and has extensive and varied flight experience as an Air Force Academy flight instructor, the 89th Airlift Wing, the Army National Guard (Nevada), US State Department (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia), and United Airlines (34 years). Jay has aircraft type ratings in the Boeing 707, 727, 737, 747, 757, 767, 777, 787, and the Sikorsky-64 helicopter. He has flown throughout the world including Europe, Middle East, Asia, Northern Africa, South America and Australia. Jay was a principal in the merger between Continental and United Airlines and helped integrate its pilots, policies, manuals, and regulations. He has backgrounds in Aviation Safety, communications, negotiations, and lobbying Congress for aviation improvements. Jay was also a Director on the United-Continental Board of Directors.
